Second Amendment PDF Print E-mail

The right to keep and bear arms is an essential American liberty that should not be tampered with. Individuals have the right to own as many firearms as they choose without the interference or knowledge of the Federal or state governments.

Individuals have the right to use firearms whenever necessary to protect themselves, their families, or their property. Cities such as Chicago and Washington, D.C., that have made guns inaccessible and illegal in some cases, still have skyrocketing violent crime rates. Common sense tells anyone that criminals do not play by the rules, and will obtain weapons no matter how many restrictive laws are enacted.  Increased gun legislation only limits the ability of decent, law abiding citizens to protect their lives and homes. The only time our elected officials should address the Second Amendment is to passionately defend this sacred liberty.
